BJ’s Mill Street Tavern & Oyster Bar, Danville, PA.

BJ’s Mill Street Tavern & Oyster Bar is located in downtown Danville, Pa.

The original location was just down the street and burned down back in 2014. Thankfully, several years ago, BJ’s re-opened at a new location. Their menu isn’t extremely large, but everything I’ve had here is very good and their beer is ice cold.

My favorite menu item is their Chicago sirloin steak. A little secret that I have, is I know what they use for their seasoning, which is great, but I just can’t make it as good as they do.

THE RATINGS:

  • Cornbread: 10/10. THE KING OF CORNBREAD! The best I’ve ever had.

  • Smokehouse Salad: 9/10. Very large for a side salad.

  • Bongo Bongo Dip: 9/10.

  • French Onion Soup: 9/10.

  • Baked Potato: 8/10

  • Chicago Sirloin: 10/10. THE KING OF SIRLOIN STEAKS! The best I’ve ever had. Probably my favorite steak too, and it’s a sirloin, which is saying something.
