JerseyTown Tavern, Bloomsburg, PA.

Jerseytown Tavern is a small restaurant/bar in the middle of nowhere. It’s honestly been hit or miss over the years, but most of the time it’s good. The last visit was the best it’s ever been, I think mainly because I heard they got a new cook.

This is a great place to grab some food and sit on the deck during the summer, it’s very peaceful out there in the summertime. There isn’t any cellular service here, but I’m pretty sure they have Wi-Fi.

If you’re in the area, definitely give it a try. It is small, so there can be a wait on some nights.

THE RATINGS:

  • Jerseytown Spinach Dip: 8/10

  • Chicken Fingers: 7.5/10.

  • Yeungling Battered Fish Sandwich: 9.5/10. One of the best fish sandwiches I’ve ever had, it is amazing.
