Hershey Park - Hershey, Pa. September, 28th, 2024
Hershey Park, in September/October, offers a dark night experience. There are haunted houses throughout the park, spooky lights, and horror-themed throughout. They also play really crappy metal/rap-rock, so you may want to bring your airpods/earpods.
What I love the most about Hershey Park, is its huge arcade with current, modern ticket games and their classic 80’s arcade and pinball machines. They even have the very rare Hercules pinball machine, I haven’t seen it since I was a kid.
They price gouge on the food, so you’ll want to eat before you get here. It’s never really any good either, but I gave a few things a try.
Stevie Nicks was the live act tonight at the stadium next door. She is 76 years old and you could hear her perform near the entrance to the park. She still sounds absolutely amazing.
THE RATINGS:
Berks Chili Cheese Dog: 8/10. Not as good as Nathans, but this is probably the best thing at the park when Nathans is closed.
Pomegranate Boba Tea: 6/10. Had a weird taste to it. Looks like I got the bottom of the batch when they were making it, so it’s possible it may be better normally.
Deep Fried Reeses Peanut Butter Cups: 8/10
Blueberry Boba Tea: 8/10
Los Tres Cubanos - Cuban Cheesesticks: 5/10. $8 for 4 tiny cheese sticks that were frozen and heated up. I ate them, but they weren’t very good.
Hershey’s Caramels: 5/10. These are exclusive to the park. They’re okay, but they taste like a Mars bar to me. I wouldn’t get them again.
