Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL.

Tropicana Field is the home of the Tampa Bay Rays. It is an indoor stadium with a temperature of around 72 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also the smallest field in all of MLB.

Tropicana Field is a cashless ballpark. Parking is $20 on gameday and it’s pretty easy to get in and park, getting out is another story. I’d recommend standing at the exit towards the end of the game and getting ready to run to your vehicle or stay and grab some food and visit the shops until things have cleared out. Better yet, visit Fergs Sports Bar across the street for some great food and beer.

I’m not sure if this happens often, but around the bottom of the 7th, some of the stands started giving out free hot dogs and sausages.

It is very hard to find actual food prices for the Tropicana. I didn’t have a lot of time, but I grabbed some photos that show some of the prices below.

THE RATINGS:

  • Foot Long Hotdog: 9/10 This was a great dog.

  • Foot Long Sausage: 8/10

  • Cherry Icee: 8/10

  • Popcorn: 7/10
