KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot, Kissimmee, FL.
There are several hot pot restaurants in the area and they’re all pretty good, but they all have their pros and cons.
KPOT is a chain and this was our first visit. This location is on Sunset Walk, just a short walk from Margaritaville Resort in Orlando. There’s plenty of parking nearby and plenty of other restaurants on Sunset Walk.
Our server was probably one of the best servers we have ever had and even made us a sauce for dipping the BBQ in.
THE PROS:
Great service, some of the best I’ve ever experienced.
Conveniently located and free parking nearby.
They allow you to change out your soup base, while other places in the area, like Volcano Hot Pot and U & Me Hot Pot, don’t allow you to change your soup base.
Clean.
Although your dining experience is limited to 2 hours of all-you-can-eat, they didn’t enforce it and told us to take our time.
The cocktails were really good and they had a happy hour at the time of our visit.
THE CONS:
Warm items on the buffet were cold. They did change them out, but they were still cold.
You had to order your items from a tablet and were not sure of portions when ordering. It wasn’t very busy, and the items did come out extremely fast, but I’m not sure how it would be if it was busy.
