Hershey Farm Grand Smorgasbord - Dinner Smorgasbord, Ronks, PA.
Welcome to Dutch country, the land of the smorgasbords, for those that are not familiar, it’s a buffet-style restaurant.
In January of 2023, Hershey Farm Resort caught fire and burned down. It just re-opened about a week or two ago and I’m very glad they did. If you’re staying at the resort, they offer 20% off at the restaurant, just show your room key.
There are too many items to rate because this smorgasbord has so many items. I haven’t eaten at a buffet this good since I was in Vegas many, many years ago. In my opinion, it is now the best in and around Lancaster.
Surprisingly, dutch dishes, such as Shoofly Pie and Pot Pie were not that great. Other things, like Italian meatballs, chili, roast beef, and sweet potatoes, were out of this world.
I wouldn’t normally eat the chicken nuggets, but tried them and they are literally McDonald’s Chicken Nuggets. The next morning, I sat behind the restaurant sipping a coffee and took pictures of all of the delivery trucks coming in. I think I found the chicken nuggets they use. I’m going to order them. If I find them, I’ll post an update here.
